I've been listening to A Perfect Circle since I first heard Mer De Noms, I've been hooked since then, The 13th Step wasn't a dissapointment. A Perfect Circle and TOOL are easily two of my favorite bands and I'm glad to find an interveiw as in depth as this. All i wish to say is thank you. Josh is an excellent drummer and I wish him all the best.

I just got done reading your interview with josh and I hafto say that someone with such emotion in there drumming can be so cool is really nice to see. I can have an emotion that I'm feeling at the time and just closing my eyes and listening to his work on the drums gives me goose bumps. That guy rips and I look forward to hearing more.

   Great Interview!

I am 45 and from Germany and I do have hope for the world when I find that Mr. Tate and I have a lot in common when we view the world.

Where Mr. Tate had the problem with his daughter and the Spice Girls, I have it now with my 10 year old son and 12 year old step son and 50 C€NT.

I am looking forward to Queensrÿche´s O:M 2 and not to forget, Mr. Tate´s 2nd solo.

Thanks again for the interview!

I'm glad someone is giving these boys press. Won't be long before you see them touring under Hoobastank or Incubus. Everyone reading this can say "Hey, I knew those guys back when they were just frisked!"

I really like Something corporate and although it's a good interview I'm not sure it does them justice. I do really like Konstantine as it was one of the first songs I heard by them but their other stuff is also good!! They're an amazing band and when I saw them I was quite shocked that I was one of few people to know Konstantine. However I'm not dissin the interview! Andrew's a sweetie and I'm sure the next album'll be just as good if not better than "Leaving through the Window" with a barrell full of surpirses as usual!

I think its a cool interview, but I agree, it doesnt do them justice, cos I saw them in a concert in March and it was fantastic- the best one I've ever been to and personally I think over here in the UK they should be way bigger! I've got a few of my mates hooked on them now though. The 'punk rock princess' single I've got has Konstantine on it so I'm happy- its a beautiful song, though slightly different to stuff like 'If u C Jordan'!

In regards to the post Allison Stott made:

"... although it's a good interview I'm not sure it does them justice."

How so? I think the interview is a great look into the creative process of the band. How many interviews have you read where Andrew talked about the new album and the creative process the band goes through in writing material for an album? (If you have read any like this I can bet that MusicFrisk was the first to ask about such things  ) Could you elaborate more on your claim please? Also I personally mentioned to Dave my interest in the song Konstantine as it is a very popular song to music goers. Konstantine was the number one looked over song on songmeanings.net for as long as I could remember until the site was revamped.

In regards to the lack of information on the old album, that is because the album is done and all questions people wanted to know were most assuredly answered back then. At MusicFrisk we try to ask the things that artists don't hear very often, because reading about the same things gets quite boring. I can only imagine how they feel during press time for their albums.

This post is by no means an attack on the author of the quote. Ms. Stott offered valuable feedback as well as some criticism. Critics are great, but improvements cannot be made without suggestions. I am merely asking her to give us a few.

Thank you

I love Something Corporate so much. They have been my favorite band for like a year and a half now. These guys are amazing and meeting them is always a pleasure. I remember the first show I went to of theirs (april 5, 2002) I didnt even know who andrew was. I thought he was the ticket guy. He told me later that he was in the band and i got so shy. I feel like I've really seen these boys grow up. It's amazing and I love every minute of it. ( TO BRIAN, I LOVE YOUR HUMPBACK WHALE) Later Days

Something Corporate is my favorite band, and sometimes I forget that some people have no clue who they are. I haven't heard one song of theirs that i haven't loved, and many of them are so great i could almost cry. all of the guys in the band are so talented and i love reading their interviews. if anyone can send me the sound clip of andrew's konstantine (question and answer 5 in the interview) please email me at socorox44@cox.net

I love Something Corporate. They have such a different sound than from any other band out there. It's so refreshing. I love every one of their songs ( and yes, my favorite is actually Konstantine). I have actually gotten obsessed with their music, I listen to it 24/7. It's also a plus that William and Andrew are extrememly hot!

i've seen soco three times now(all in england), and each time they have got better and better......its amazing to see how they have got the recognition they deserve (i've been listening to them for two years and only now are people around me hearing their music) ...the first time i saw them they wouldn't have been more than 20 people there......and the last show was 500 capacity.......and was sold out......i'm a huge konstatine fan myself...and its cool that it got a mention in the interview....but the song shouldn't take away the magic from the songs on the record...as they are all equally amazing..........andrew.........in one phrase......."is a sweetheart"..........good luck to them....Vikki....XXXXXXXxx

HI people, i've never been here before but i just want to say THANKS for that great interview with something corporates Andrew McMahon. Im a violinist and soprano (singer) so thats why something corporate appealed to me, a self taught pianist as good as Andrew just gripped me.
Could someone please tell me how old he actually is????i have been told 18 but am not sure, if he is he is EXTREMELY talented as is the rest of the band for their combined talents. im a konstantine fan, well im insane about it, its all i listen to! weird...i know.

Thanks,
jammy dodgerz

p.s. i am FUMING that i cannot see them at astoria(london) on the 21st but i have to watch my family get drunk. Every one i know will be there taking approx 60 pictures for me though!!

Something Corporate is an awesome band. When you listen to the music you just fall into it. But it was a great interview. Andrew gave a great interview. He is very talented and intelligent. Something Corporate's music is very expressive. I have seen them in concert and they make you like them even more. The put on a great show, especially with Andrew playing on the piano and singing with his amazing voice. Just all together this group has the talent to become really big. I'm just excited for them and hope they make it big because their music is awesome and they deserve it. I'm excited because I am going to one of their shows tomorrow night and I know it is going to be so good!

   undefined defined    QUOTE
I have viewed the Something Corporate interview and throught it was really cool and was really inspired by it.  Something Corporate are awsome and are a huge influce on me expecally the way Andrew invites the pinao in rock music it's really different to alot of other bands out these day and I can't get enough of them.  Tey really inspire me alot and think Something Corporate deserve sucess they truelly earned it.  Konstantine is a awsome song and I thin they don't get enough credit for there sucess and fot the great songs that they keep on producing.  Im really upset that Willams has left the band they won't be the same but I hope he will return some day to relive old times with.  I hope all the best for him and good luck with his future sucess going solo good luck.  Im from the UK - Wales and these days great bands like Something Corporate don't make the charts it's all pop rubish which mostly don't deserve to make the charts.  I find that in the UK I can't seem to find Something Corporate Albums such as Adioboxer and other great songs like Konstantine and I find this unfare because there a great band and I just wish they'd release more of there stuff in the UK!  But most of all GOOD LUCK SOMETHING CORPOATE FOR NOW AND THE FUTURE!  If and one has anything they agree with me with just repley because I have alot more that I have'nt added about Something Corporate.

i recently heard an acoustic version of punk rock princess and it gave you a completely different feeling, it was so depressing but its amazing how that song was turned from really poppy to i wanna slit my wrists and cry in a corner....anyway there was a line added in it "it was this time last year, your so much different now, you watch the traffic clear, you hear the cars spin out, i never thought you'd last, i never dreamed you would, you watch your life go past, you wonder if you should..." it completely changes the meaning of the song, but does anyone know the meaning behind this part i mean did andrew or someone in the band like have an exgirlfriend die or something?

Yeah the interview was great. I saw the concert in Jackson, MS a few weeks back and hung out with a couple of other smart fans for awhile afterwards hoping to meet the guys. They all came out to say hey but Chris was the first one out. He's a great guy. Y'all need to do more 3DD interviews!!!

I wanted to say thanks to Chris for doing the interview. I'm a 3DDwn fan club member and even drove 7 hours to see them in Pensacola back in February. It was an awesome show! I have a 3 year old daughter that knows the words to EVERY SONG on both THE BETTER LIFE & AWAY FROM THE SUN! To me, that is precious. What a fan she is! Just like her mom. Rock on you guys!    That was an awesome interview, I always love reading what the guys of 3DD have to say. I liked how you seemed to put down his entire answers (other interviewers often seem to just put a sentence or two down so the reader gets the idea), and you asked different questions than most others. It'd be great to see another interview with another band member.

I saw Larry working hard in Milwaukee. I wanted to say "Hi Larry!" But I didn't want to freak him out.

Every time I see him on stage getting Mike's guitar ready, I get really excited. I know that incubus will be on stage in a matter of minutes. He's so lucky he gets to touch Mike's guitar. I'm sure not too many people get to do that.
